Click the Form Field Shading icon to remove shading around the checkbox. From drop-down list, under the section Legacy Forms, click the Check Box Form Field icon. Consider adding them to your quick access toolbar for easy access. Method 1: On the Word Ribbon menu, under the tab Developer, within the group Controls, click the Legacy Tools icon. That’s it! If you want to remove a command, select it so it’s highlighted, then click the ‘Remove’ button. Use the arrow buttons on the right to change the order of the commands. The command is now available in your quick access toolbar. If a gray background makes the text look indistinct, select a brighter color in the Shading chart to make the text stand out on the page. Once you find the command you’re looking for, click the ‘Add’ button in the middle of the screen.
